Cracked Swimsuit give him Medal

Zoccari cracked swimsuit is not the first time. But different with Zoccari which can’t continue her swimming race, this time he got Medal.

US Swimmer and Beijing relay gold medalist Ricky Berens tore the back of his swimsuit in a qualifying heat of the 4x100m relay freestyle on Sunday during the World Swimming Championships in Rome. Shortly before stepping up to the starting block, the University of Texas senior leaned down to stretch and his suit tore.

"I kind of freaked out for just a second," Berens said. "I felt like [the hole] was almost down to my knees. I felt like I was putting on a pretty good show."

He did. And the US qualified for finals and won.

I bet, if Ricky Berens release his swimsuit, he will getting faster and faster.

Who Will Replace Massa?

With Felipe Massa recovering from last Saturday's Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying crash – and doubts regarding his eventual return to the F60's cockpit this season - Ferrari must now make use of the summer break to name the driver who will temporarily occupy the injured Brazilian's seat.
The Formula One world is quick to start up rumours and several names are already floating as possible candidates - names which have appeared out of logic, out of possibility, and also out of wishful thinking.

One name to quickly appear was that of Michael Schumacher, closely tied to Ferrari and still serving as a consultant. While his long-time agent Willi Weber doesn't believe the seven-time champion will race, Schumacher himself has not commented and some sources believe he might actually be thinking about it.

Fernando Alonso is also being pointed out as a possibility since there already exist persistent rumours regarding a switch to the red-clad team next year. That implies of course that Renault boss Flavio Briatore would be willing to 'lease' his star driver to Ferrari, at a time when all the signs indicate he is on the verge of replacing Nelson Piquet. The odds of seeing Renault fielding two rookies are slim, and Briatore owes Ferrari no favours.
Since Renault has been suspended by the FIA for the next race following the Hungarian GP's loose-wheel incident - a sanction the team has appealed - rumours see a one-shot Ferrari deal for Alonso in time for the European Grand Prix in Valencia, a situation which would satisfy many local fans and boost ticket sales for the Spaniard's second home race of the season.

F1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone seems quite thrilled by the idea, but such a scenario would be a surprise.

Sebastien Bourdais was recently sacked by the Ferrari-powered Toro Rosso team and is evidently available for a drive. His agent happens to be Nicolas Todt, who also watches over Felipe Massa. A few races aboard the F60 would be a golden opportunity for four-time Champ Car titleholder Bourdais, who needs to prove his worth as he seeks to continue his F1 career next year.

The situation also allows for a hypothetical return of the Villeneuve name to Ferrari: 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve is energetically working on his comeback, and securing a temporary contract with the Maranello-based team is surely on his mind. Whether connected to that possibility or not, Villeneuve cancelled a Bucharest appearance at the last minute on Monday.

Williams test driver Nico Hulkenberg, rumoured to be a 2010 replacement for the much-in-demand Nico Rosberg, has also been mentioned in certain circles given that he is managed by Schumacher's agent Willi Weber.
Of course, all these rumours regarding Massa's temporary replacement do not seem to address the fact that Ferrari has two test drivers contracted to get behind the wheel if the need arises: Marc Gene and Luca Badoer. Logically, both should be first choices, although that does not rule out hiring a guest driver.

Team Principal Stefano Domenicali said options will be looked at in the coming days, while Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo stated: "We'll make a decision when the time is right."

Felipe Massa Possibly Retire from F1 Earlier

Jul 27th, 2009 | BUDAPEST, Hungary -- A doctor says Felipe Massa's life is no longer in danger, but that the Ferrari driver sustained an eye injury in his crash which could affect his future in Formula One.

Robert Veres, the doctor who performed surgery on Massa after his crash, said Monday that Massa was stable and remained sedated "to protect his brain."

Veres said Massa had suffered damage to his left eye but didn't "know the quality of this damage."

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemelo said that Ferrari's first priority was Massa's health but that the Italian team doesn't "want to wait too long" to decide on finding a driving replacement.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) -- Felipe Massa's health was improving Monday after the Formula One driver communicated passively with doctors, and medical scans provided encouraging signs after surgery on multiple skull fractures.

Department of defense ministry spokesman Istvan Bocskai told the Associated Press that Massa was not speaking but that the 28-year-old Brazilian reacted when spoken to and was moving his hands and feet.

Massa was in life-threatening but stable condition following surgery on multiple skull injuries sustained during a violent crash in his Ferrari Saturday at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Bocskai said that military hospital doctors were reassured after no complications were uncovered by a CT scan. An ultrasound performed Sunday night to check on internal injuries revealed "nothing that would give cause for concern."

The sedated Massa was also being woken up more frequently.

"These are definitely positive signs," Bocskai said.

Massa received a concussion after a loose car part hit his helmet during a qualifying run on Saturday.

He then slammed into a protective tire barrier at about 120 mph causing multiple skull injuries that were operated on around one hour after being taken from the Hungaroring circuit.

Although Massa was in stable condition in the intensive care unit at AEK hospital following surgery, doctors called Massa's condition as life-threatening due to the severity of the injuries.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo was scheduled to join the 11-time Grand Prix winner's family -- which includes pregnant wife Anna Rafaela -- on Monday.

F1's governing body is investigating the crash, which came amid a string of safety mishaps.

A Formula 2 driver was killed six days earlier after being struck in the head by a loose tire from another car and crashing into a barrier.

Motorsport authorities also suspended Renault from the next round of the championship for jeopardizing Fernando Alonso's safety when it failed to inform the two-time world champion of a nut wheel problem at Budapest. Alonso's wheel subsequently came off and bounced wildly down the track.

No F1 driver has died on the track since Ayrton Senna 15 years ago. The three-time champion died from head injuries after a violent crash in Italy.
